Mr. Amara founded and oversees Golden Gate Capital’s Industrials Investing Practice, which comprises 12 Companies aggregating to over $4 billion of revenues. The philosophy of the Industrials Practice is to invest in competitively differentiated market leaders and aggressively grow their earnings by prioritizing innovation and capital allocation. He graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and serves on the Board of the University’s Graduate School of Education, one of the top ranked educational research Schools in the world.
Felix Lo is a Principal of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2004. He focuses on private equity investments in the broader Industrial sector, including test and measurement, industrial distribution, industrial services, and sensors. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Lo worked as an investment professional at Bain Capital and as a consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Lo has an AB in Public Policy from Brown University.
Shane O’Kelly is the Chief Executive Officer of PetroChoice. Shane joined PetroChoice in 2011 and implemented a comprehensive growth strategy. Under his tenure, the company has successfully completed 16 acquisitions and now has 51 locations serving 32 states. Prior to joining PetroChoice, Shane served as the Chief Executive Officer of AH Harris, a value-added distributor of construction specialty products. Earlier in his career, Shane worked at The Home Depot and McKinsey. He is also a veteran of the United States Army where he served as an infantry officer. Shane has an MBA from Harvard Business School a BS in mathematical economics from the United States Military Academy.
Anant Gupta joined Golden Gate Capital in 2010. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Gupta worked as a Senior Associate Consultant in the New York office of Bain & Company. Mr. Gupta has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Masters in Statistics from Harvard University, and an AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University.
Annie Creager is a Vice President at Golden Gate Capital, which she joined in 2014. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Ms. Creager worked as a Senior Associate Consultant in the New York office of Bain & Company. Ms. Creager has a B.A. in Ethics, Politics, and Economics, with distinction, from Yale College (cum laude).
Robert Kirby is an Operating Partner with Golden Gate Capital. Mr. Kirby was previously CEO of Atrium. He was also the CEO of Vi-Jon, a leading private label manufacturer in the personal care market. Prior to this Mr. Kirby was CEO of Accellent, a leading contract manufacturer in the medical device market. Earlier in Mr. Kirby’s career, he was a GM and led R&D, Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain at large cap companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark and Fort James. Mr. Kirby has broad based experience in Consumer Personal Care, OTC and Medical Devices. During his 30 year career he has led large scale and complex integrations of acquisitions, implemented lean processes and driven rapid, positive change.
Brian Slobodow is an Operating Executive with Golden Gate Capital. Mr. Slobodow currently advises the firm and portfolio companies in a broad range of supply chain and procurement issues. He formerly served as Chief Operating Officer of Atrium Windows, Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Silica, and Chief Operating Officer of Neways International, all of which are current or former Golden Gate Capital portfolio companies. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Slobodow held multiple leadership positions within Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products and was a Principal with A.T. Kearney. Mr. Slobodow has an MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and a BS in Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
Roy Rosas is an Operating Executive with Golden Gate Capital. He was previously an Operating Executive with Berkshire Partners and held the position of Chief Marketing and Administrative Officer at Vi-Jon. Mr. Rosas previously led Procter & Gamble’s Oral B Developing Markets Global Business Group, co-founded Reputation Technologies, a supply chain analytics company that was acquired by Security Source, and led strategy consulting engagements at the Boston Consulting Group. He started his career as a Marketing Manager with Procter & Gamble. Mr. Rosas holds an MBA from Harvard, an M.S. from the National University of Singapore, and a B.S. in Business & Accountancy from the University of the Philippines.
